# Order Sms Number

POST https://api.simjuno.com/v1/sms-number/order
Content-Type: application/json

Rent an SMS number using the reseller wallet. SMS it receives are forwarded to the linked eSIM and kept in its inbox. The number can only receive SMS. To safely retry, reuse the same transaction_id with the same product and days.

## Authentication

- `x-api-key` header (required) — API key generated from the dashboard (Settings → API Keys). Each key is limited to 8 requests per 1-second window.

This endpoint expects an object.

- `transaction_id` (string, required) — Reseller-assigned transaction ID
- `product_id` (string, required)
- `days` (integer, required)
- `esim_id` (string, optional, nullable) — eSIM to forward SMS to. It must be yours, active and on a plan with smsStatus 1 or 2. Can be set later.

- `id` (string, required) — SimJuno SMS number rental ID
- `transaction_id` (string, required, nullable) — Reseller-assigned transaction ID; null for numbers rented on simjuno.com

- `phone_number` (string, required) — Rented number in international format, without the +

- `status` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `active`, `expired`, `refunded`
- `amount` (double, required) — Amount charged, in units of 1/10,000 USD (30000 = $3.00)
- `expires_at` (string, required)
- `esim_id` (string, required, nullable) — eSIM that received SMS are forwarded to; null keeps them in the inbox only
- `message_count` (double, required)
- `refundable_until` (string, required, nullable) — Refundable until then if no SMS has arrived; null when it can't be refunded
- `created_at` (string, required)

SMS numbers are not available right now

Too many requests. Each API key is limited to 8 requests per 1-second window.
